into the plan
Select a category below to find resources you can share to help your employees with questions they may have as they begin using their plan to visit their doctor, fill prescriptions, deal with claims and more.
Share these resources with employees to help them better understand how to use their plan.
myuhc.com®
myuhc.com is a personalized website that helps members access and manage their plan from one central, secure space. Surveys of our new members tell us that 68 percent of them use myuhc.com as a resource to find information.1 Let your employees know that myuhc.com is the place they can find a network provider, view and pay claims, see what’s covered, get information about preventive care and so much more.
Health Savings Account
An HSA is a personal account to help your employees save and pay or be reimbursed for qualified medical expenses. There’s no “use it or lose it” rule and they get to keep it even if they change plans, change employers or retire. Share this document with employees who are eligible for an HSA and encourage them to open their account.
Choose a network provider
When employees use network providers it can help them keep their costs down. Use this flier to educate employees on the value of seeing providers in their network. Print and post it in break rooms or other common areas.
Before employees wait for hours in the emergency room and end up with a sizable bill, there might be options that save them money. In fact, they could save up to $1,900 by choosing an alternative to the emergency room.2
Check. Choose. Go.®
Help your employees understand and compare their care options better when their primary care provider (PCP) isn’t available.
Virtual Visits
Find information about Virtual Visits, including how to get access to a doctor wherever, whenever and save valuable time and money.
Preventive Care
Help employees understand the importance of recommended screenings and regular checkups. Print copies of this brochure or share the website link with employees so they can create checklists for themselves and their families.
Pharmacy is one of the most used benefits and can be the most difficult for employees to understand. If your employees have pharmacy benefits through OptumRx®, share this guide to help them understand their prescription coverage and more.
